SIDHARTH
MEER
Sidharth Meer is a Mumbai-based colourist, post-production studio head, and film producer whose work has helped shape the visual language of contemporary Indian and international cinema. With a career spanning more than two decades, Meer occupies a rare position at the intersection of craft, technology, and storytelling, bringing both creative sensitivity and industrial rigour to every project he touches.
As a colourist, Meer is widely regarded for his intuitive understanding of narrative tone and performance, and for using colour not as ornamentation but as a storytelling tool. His filmography spans acclaimed documentaries, independent features, and mainstream cinema, including globally recognised titles that have premiered at major festivals such as Sundance, Cannes, Berlin, Rotterdam, Busan, and Venice, and streamed on platforms like Netflix, MUBI, Sony LIV, and Prime Video. His work on socially and politically urgent documentaries, alongside intimate character-driven dramas and large-scale commercial films, reflects an unusually broad creative range.
Meer is the founder and studio head of Bridge PostWorks, one of India’s leading post-production and colour grading studios, known for servicing both domestic and international projects at the highest technical standards. Under his leadership, the studio has become a trusted creative partner for filmmakers navigating complex workflows across colour, VFX, mastering, and global deliverables, while remaining deeply filmmaker-centric in its approach.
In recent years, Meer has expanded his role as a producer, backing independent films that have gone on to achieve significant international recognition. His producing work reflects a consistent commitment to bold voices, formally ambitious cinema, and stories rooted in specific cultural contexts yet resonant across borders.
Beyond individual credits, Meer is an active mentor, speaker, and advocate for the craft of post-production, frequently engaging with emerging filmmakers and industry professionals through workshops, panels, and educational initiatives. His perspective is shaped by hands-on creative practice as well as a deep understanding of the evolving global film ecosystem.
